Having gained a reputation for a quality product at the right price, it was paramount that this was preserved. The gaining of BS EN ISO 9002 in 1994, was a step in ensuring that this reputation was sealed with the on-going monitoring of BSI. It was quickly followed by the introduction of Computerised Load Testing Equipment, 2D Camera Measuring and Digital Recording Systems, aided by statistical techniques where required.
To reinforce our commitment to total quality of product, this system was rolled out for all volumes of supply to ensure optimal performance to every customer. This was capitalised upon when in 2017 we gained the latest EN 9002: 2015 accreditation, again using the British Standards Institute as our Auditor (BSI).
We employ the methodology of EN 14001, monitoring our energy requirements and ensuring our Carbon footprint is minimised.
Systems and procedures are continually improving with the introduction of all new bespoke manufacturing software allowing us to minimise our paperwork, energy requirements and lead times. Paperless manufacture is now a foreseeable goal and the introduction of Bar coding at all levels has aided complete traceability to be maintained throughout, together with archiving and instant re-call of all production data.
