Spring design

We have established over many years, a wealth of experience of both design and manufacture of springs. We use software from IST (Institute of Spring Technology), to evaluate our designs enabling us to assess theoretical fatigue life, relaxation, stability, and stress levels within a particular design. The software also allows us to analyse and check according to the differing International standards, for both design and tolerancing.

We offer a service which is very often free of charge, but we can guide and support our customers during the design stage, as there may often be other unforeseen considerations within an assembly which may affect a springs’ performance, and indeed cost to manufacture.
